**Purpose**: Installs the Pre User Registration Action and adds it to the Auth0 sign-up flow.

**Audience**: Auth0 tenant administrators.

**Applies to**: Sign-up screening on Database and Passwordless connections.

**Does not apply to**: Sign-ups through social or enterprise connections, which the Login Action screens on the user's first login.

The Pre User Registration Action uses the same Accertify Account Protection Marketplace listing, credentials, and host as the Login Action.

**To add:**

Install the Pre User Registration Action from the Accertify Account Protection Marketplace listing, as described in [Installing the Accertify Account Protection Action](docId\:AHZKMD0Dk4OD4An5yy4Nx).

Enter the same settings as for the Login Action. Use the same Accertify credentials and host. `FAIL_OPEN` and `AP_TIMEOUT_MS` work the same way here. See [Account Protection Action Settings](docId\:CKmGRPHPq-gqQuJ6HwoY6).

Go to **Actions → Triggers**, select **pre-user-registration**, drag the Action between **Start** and **Complete**, and select **Apply**.

**Expected result:** The Action appears in **Actions → Triggers → pre-user-registration**, and changes are applied.
