**Topic type: Task**

**Purpose**: Passes the Accertify collector's device and behavioral IDs to Auth0 in the sign-up request.

**Audience**: Front-end engineers who maintain the sign-up page.

**Applies to**: Sign-ups on Database and Passwordless connections where your own page sends the sign-up request.

**Does not apply to**: Auth0's hosted sign-up page, which can't add `user_metadata`. Login redirects, which use `ext-` parameters.

`ext-` parameters don't reach the sign-up trigger, so sign-ups use a different route: include the collector's IDs in the sign-up request's `user_metadata`. Send ID references only, with no payload data. For the conditions that apply, see [Sign-Up Screening Coverage for Auth0](docId:1qVbpSvIf1O-5b9WtSW77).

**To pass:**

Call `window._bcn.snapshot()` and wait for the bundle it returns.

Include `deviceTransactionID` and `ubaID` from the bundle in the `user_metadata` of the sign-up request. The following example uses `auth0.js`:

async function signUp(email, password) {
  const bundle = await window._bcn.snapshot();
  webAuth.signup({
    connection: 'Username-Password-Authentication',
    email,
    password,
    user_metadata: {
      deviceTransactionID: bundle.deviceTransactionID,
      ubaID: bundle.ubaID,
    }
  }, function (err) {
    // handle the result
  });
}
```

**Expected result:** Your sign-up request includes `deviceTransactionID` and `ubaID` in `user_metadata`.
