Chargeback API Overview
The Accertify Chargeback Management API is used to take action on chargeback disputes within the Interceptas Platform. It supports workflows for responding to disputes received from issuers or acquirers and for creating dispute records when needed.
This API is action-oriented: each request represents a specific dispute action, such as accepting liability or submitting representment evidence.
Supported Actions
The Chargeback Management API supports the following actions.

- Accept — Accept liability for a chargeback and close the dispute
- DataEvidence — Submit structured data evidence without attachments
- ImageEvidence — Submit evidence with supporting documents or images
- Create — Create a chargeback record when one does not already exist
The action performed is determined by the endpoint and request payload sent.
Exporting Transactions
Dispute notification can be sent via our standard export process separate from our API. This will allow you to receive dispute notifications that we received from the bank. If this functionality is needed, Accertify can set up during integration. Please contact your Client Success Manager or the Accertify Support team.
