The Accertify Data Privacy API provides a way for you to submit Personal Identifiable Information (PII) obfuscation requests. Regulations, such as GDPR, necessitate we provide you a simple way to forward these PII requests. This API replaces the way you used to send these requests, on our website.
How Data Privacy Works
When you use this API, a "Success" response indicates your request is sent to a working queue for our Support team.
You are notified via email when your requests are:
- Accepted, meaning the data was obfuscated, or
- Rejected, meaning the data was not found.
Field Constraints
The data points you must send through the API are:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Address is optional
